JAKARTA (09/24/08) – About 1200 dancers will perform in the Asian Beach Games opening ceremony in Bali, on October 18th 2008. The dancers, students of eight local high schools in Bali, are now preparing for the big performance.

The preparations are in the choreography and movements as they will perform the local dance and art within the synergy of the beauty of all participating countries. The opening ceremony itself is scheduled to be attended by the President of Indonesia, Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

The ceremony venue, Garuda Wisnu Kencana Monument, is also being prepared. The venue is one of the most well-known and breathtaking landmarks in Bali. (Irw)
